Flamio On-Live

Get a dashboard by email or in Slack

Subscribe to an On-Live dashboard and get its charts every day, week or month, by email or in a Slack channel.

A subscription sends a dashboard on a schedule: every chart's headline number, its change against the period before, and a link that opens the dashboard on the same period and filters. Send it to yourself, to teammates or to a Slack channel.

Before you begin

  • Any role can subscribe. A Viewer can only email the dashboard to themselves.
  • Email goes to members of your organization only, each with its own unsubscribe link.
  • For Slack, the Flamio app must be connected under Settings > Integrations > Team chat. The channel list holds public channels only. See Slack.

Open the subscriptions

Open the dashboard — Analytics or one from Dashboards — and click Subscribe at the top right. It hides while you edit the layout. The Subscriptions panel lists the dashboard's subscriptions.

Choose who gets it

Click New subscription. Under Send to, select Email me, Email members (then tick the people) or Slack channel (then select a public Channel).

Choose when it goes

Select the Frequency — Daily, Weekly or Monthly — then the Day of a weekly one, the Time and the Time zone, which starts as yours. Each send covers the day before, the 7 days before its day, or the previous month.

Check the filters

Under Filters, the subscription keeps the device, source, version, friction and traffic filters the dashboard has now. What you typed into the filter bar — an entry URL, a user email or a meta value — is listed under Not included:.

Create the subscription

Click Create subscription. The row says when it goes, how and to whom — for example every Monday at 09:00 in Europe/Kyiv, by email, to you.

Result

Each send carries every chart's headline number, its change against the period before, and a link that opens the dashboard on the same period and filters. In Slack, a breakdown by page, person or error shows how many rows it has, not the rows.

On a row, Send now sends the latest period at once, the switch pauses the subscription, Delete subscription deletes it for everyone it goes to, and clicking the row changes it. A subscription whose author left the organization stops with Paused: its author left until an editor turns it back on.

Or ask Flami

Ask in your own words — for example "Email me this dashboard every Monday morning" — and Flami sets the subscription up. Ask Flami to stop emailing you the dashboard, and it takes you off. See Flami.

Stop getting a subscription

Every email carries an unsubscribe link. It takes you off that one subscription and leaves the others it emails.

The Subscriptions panel changes, sends or deletes a subscription for its author when it emails only them, and for an editor or an admin. Any other member it emails sees To stop it, use the unsubscribe link in its email.

A subscription emails members of your organization only — Email members lists the people on Settings > Team. To send a dashboard to someone outside it, invite them to the organization first — a Viewer role is enough to receive — or post to a public Slack channel they are in.
