Account settings
Edit your profile, change or reset your password, report a bug to the Flamio team, and delete your account.
Your account is your personal sign-in to Flamio. You manage it in Settings under Account: your profile, your password and, for the organization owner, deleting the account.
Before you begin
- You are signed in. To reset a password you have forgotten, you only need access to your email.
- Deleting the account needs the Owner role in the organization you are working in.
Change your name or company details
Open your profile
Click Settings at the bottom of the sidebar, or open your avatar menu at the top right and click Settings. Profile is the page it opens on.
Edit the details
Under Personal, edit First name, Last name and Job role. Under Company, edit Company name, Field / industry, Location and Team size.
Save
A bar appears at the bottom: Unsaved changes to your profile. Click Save changes in it.
Result: a Profile updated message confirms the change. Your first and last name are also the name shown in your avatar menu.
Change your password
If you signed up with Google and never set a password, use Set a password for a Google account instead.
Open the password settings
Click Settings in the sidebar, then Password under Account.
Enter the passwords
Enter Current password, New password and Confirm new password. The new password needs at least 6 characters and must differ from the current one.
Save
Click Update password.
Result: a Password updated message confirms it. If the current password is wrong, you see Current password is incorrect.
Reset a password you have forgotten
Request a reset link
On the sign-in page, click Forgot password? next to the Password label. On Reset your password, enter your Email and click Send reset link. The page shows Check your email.
Open the link
Open the link in the email from Flamio. It is valid for one hour and opens Set a new password.
Set the new password
Enter New password and Confirm password — at least 6 characters — and click Set new password.
Result: you are signed in with the new password. If the page says "This reset link is invalid or has expired.", click Request a new one and start again.
Set a password for a Google account
An account created with Google sign-in has no password, so Settings > Password cannot change it — it asks for a current password you never had. Use the reset flow instead: on the sign-in page, click Forgot password? and follow Reset a password you have forgotten. The new password works alongside Google sign-in.
Report a bug
Open the form
Click Feedback in the top bar. Or click Settings, then Report a bug under Support.
Describe the problem
Enter a short Title. In Description, add the steps to reproduce and what you expected versus what happened.
Send it
Click Submit report.
Result: Bug report submitted — thank you! means the report reached the Flamio team.
Delete your account
Before you start:
- You must be the Owner of the organization that is active in the sidebar. The Danger zone is hidden for Admin, Editor and Viewer, so switch to the organization you own first. An account created by accepting an invitation owns no organization and cannot delete itself.
- Your organization must have no other members. If it does, the deletion is refused — remove them first in Settings > Team.
This cannot be undone
Find the danger zone
Click Settings. On Profile, scroll to the red Danger zone at the bottom and click Delete account.
Confirm
In Delete your account?, type DELETE into the confirmation field.
Delete
Click Delete account.
Result: the account and its data are deleted and you are signed out.
Sign out
Open your avatar menu at the top right and click Log out.
Limitations
- Flamio does not let you change the email you sign in with — instead, ask the Flamio team through Feedback.
- Flamio does not let you leave an organization yourself — instead, an Owner or Admin removes you in Settings > Team. Delete account does not detach you from a team: it is shown only to the owner and deletes the data.
- Flamio does not have notification preferences — instead, filter the bell with All and Unread, and configure the On-Live daily digest in Flamio On-Live > Digests.
- Flamio does not offer the interface in other languages — it is in English only. Flami answers in the language you write in.
- Flamio does not support SSO, SAML or two-factor authentication — sign-in is email and password, or Google. If SSO is a requirement, write to contact@flamio.org.
- Flamio does not have retention settings in the app, and does not sign contracts in the app — instead, see the privacy policy for how long recordings are kept, and write to contact@flamio.org for a DPA, sub-processors or certifications.
